Privacy notice
Last updated: 10 August 2026 · Consent version 2026-08-10.2
This notice explains what happens to personal data collected through listings.sandersalbania.com. It is written to describe what this website actually does, and nothing else.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Sanders International, registered in Albania, NUIS M42304035S.
We operate from:
- London — Fox Court, 14 Gray's Inn Road, London WC1X 8HN, United Kingdom
- Tirana — Rruga Mihal Duri 1001, Tirana, Albania
For anything in this notice, including a request to see or delete your data, contact sales@sandersalbania.com.
What we collect, and when
Nothing is collected when you simply read a listing. Personal data is collected only when you ask for a brochure.
| Data | Where it comes from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your name | You type it into the brochure form | To address the email and to know who enquired |
| Your email address | You type it into the brochure form | To send the verification link and the brochure |
| Which property you asked about, and the page you asked from | The form | To send the right brochure and to know what interests you |
| Which of the two boxes you ticked, the time you ticked each, and the version of this notice you were shown | The form, recorded when you confirm your address | To evidence what you agreed to, and what you did not |
| The country your request came from | Derived from your IP address by our hosting provider | To understand which markets enquire |
Your IP address is used momentarily to rate-limit the request form so it cannot be abused to send email to other people. It is not written to our records; only the country code is kept.
We do not collect your data if you request a brochure and never click the link in the email. An unconfirmed request is discarded and is never added to our records.
The two things we ask you
The brochure form has two separate tick boxes, and they do different things. The second one is genuinely optional: leaving it untouched does not stop you getting the brochure, and we record that you left it untouched.
| Box | What it does | Our lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| “I agree to Sanders emailing me this brochure.” Required |
Lets us email you the link and, when you open it, send you the brochure you asked for. | Article 6(1)(b) — processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract. You asked us for a brochure; using your address to send it is how we do what you asked. |
| “Send me new listings and updates from Sanders.” Optional |
Lets us email you about other properties later. Nothing else depends on it. | Article 6(1)(a) — consent, and regulation 22 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Never pre-ticked. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing does not affect anything sent before you did. |
We record each box separately, with the time you ticked it and the version of this notice you were shown. If you declined the second box we record that too — as a decision, not as a blank.
Marketing, if you opted in
Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect for all of them. The verification email is not marketing — it is the one message you asked for by submitting the form — so it does not carry one.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is handled on our behalf by:
| Who | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify | Hosts this website and runs the code that handles the form | United States |
| Resend | Delivers the verification email, and the notification of your enquiry to our sales team | European Union |
Your enquiry is emailed to our own sales mailbox and kept there. We do not keep it in any other system — there is no separate database or spreadsheet of enquiries.
Sending your data outside the UK and the EEA
Both companies above are based in the United States, so some of your data is handled there. Each is covered by a data protection agreement with us, and by a recognised legal safeguard for that transfer:
- Netlify. Their data processing agreement is part of the subscription agreement we accepted, and applied from the moment we signed up. It covers both the UK and EU GDPR and includes the Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Resend. Their data processing agreement took effect when we accepted their terms. Resend is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension — an arrangement the European Commission and the UK government have each recognised as giving your data protection equivalent to what it has at home. Your messages themselves are processed in Resend's European region.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry in our sales mailbox for 24 months from your last contact with us, and then delete it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we do.
Your rights
You can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or stop how we use it; or send it to you in a portable form. You can withdraw the marketing opt-in at any time, by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing us. We answer within one month.
If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the data protection authority for the country you live in. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in Albania it is the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idp.al). You can complain to your own country's authority wherever you are — you do not have to use ours.
Cookies and embedded content
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking pixels.
Some listing pages do load content from Google, and you should know about it because it happens before you have agreed to anything:
- 29 listing pages embed a Google map. Loading the page loads the map, and Google receives your IP address.
- 27 listing pages load fonts from Google's servers. Same effect: your browser requests the font from Google and Google receives your IP address.
We do not receive anything from those requests and we do not use them to track you. We are working to remove both — most pages already load their fonts from this site rather than from Google.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and its version number. The version you agreed to is recorded with your enquiry.
